Map Room

Identity Design + Risography
Map Room is the ‘traveller’s tavern’ of Chicago’s Bucktown neighborhood, offering a global beer selection within a local, comfy atmosphere. In the spirit of the literal and figurative journey that accompanies a trip to Map Room, I created two mock identity marks, one of which has a type-only treatment. Processing was used to create the structure for a logarithmic spiral that emulates a hiking path. I then altered the shape by hand to echo the type.
